Island Tijat

Airport and transport – Island Prvić (1.1 km); Šibenik (around 16 km); airports in Zadar (from Šibenik around 68 km) and Split (from Šibenik around 60 km).

History – uninhabited; mostly owned by people of Šepurina from island Prvić.

Info – the most prominent feature of the island is the huge metal cross on the highest peak (Vela Glava 119 m) visible from miles away; coastline 9,8 m; organized hunting (on moufflons) from high shooting stad or ambush or stalking (from July 1st – January 31st ).

For sailors:

Tijašćica: exposed to jugo and E; sheltered from the winds of the I, III and IV quadrant. Mooring: anchorage plus berth to the shore.
