Airport and transport – (from Rogač) daily ferry and catamaran lines to Split (15 km); airport (from the port of Split 25 km).

Interesting to see: beautiful castle that belonged to the Marchi family (1706); remains of old Christian church with monastery (5th-6th century).

Info – Village Maslinica was made in 1703 when an aristocratic family Marchi asked (Venetian) permission to found a new settlement and to build a castle with towers for defense of frequent pirate attacks (today the castle is turned into a very famous restaurant “Conte Alberti”); in any cove can be found a solitary place for swimming (ferries and boats don’t come here).
